Hi Jewel, Yes it is a Bleeding Heart! Usually after a few years they get taller and bushier.. she likes partial shade..if the spot is too sunny it will not be as tall. That is the beauty of perennials..if you don't think that they are "happy" then move them to another place. Do you give her some fertilizer? I used to work in some dehydrated sheep manure in my beds..or sprinkle Milorganite all over..it is slow release human fert..wear gloves. :)
