Mountain Wedding

This weekend we are in McCall Idaho for a wedding. But we are camping in a state park, so we also get to enjoy camp fires and smore's.
Jillian's first camping trip, and campfire, she will have to wait for her first smore.

Nicole and Hadley enjoying the fire.

The next morning we walked to Payette Lake, to play in the water.

A beautiful setting for the wedding.

Daddy and daughter dancing.

The groom and John have known each other since Kindergarten
This is a picture of several of the men/boys John and Brian went to school with.

Kokanee

http://www.utahfishinginfo.com/utahfish/kokaneesalmon.php

Westside of Straight asked about the Kokanee.....What I know about fish could fit in a thimble. So I googled it. Kokanee is a landlocked Sockeye Salmon. The only other thing I know is... Halibut tastes great, and you can buy salmon at CostCo.

Gary used to own a hunting/fishing lodge in Canada, I think he was burnt out, because I've never seen him fish, well unless you count the time we tried to fish at one of the lakes in Mammoth CA. We got all the grandkids fishing poles, it was so crazy, the only thing we caught was a diaper and a sock....grandchildren wearing said items were not injured. I think we took the hooks off, and let them play.

Labor Day Weekend

Gary's daughter Kelly heard the Kokanee were running at Anderson Ranch Dam, so we decided to take the ATV's that directions, we haven't rode the 4 wheelers there before. It was great. We rode to the Trinity Lake Lookout. It was a beautiful ride --little scary.
Not sure if you can see the Ospry with the Kokanee in his claws.

Kelly at the Lookout.
Kelly took all the pictures, well except for this one. I forgot my camera.
I talked to Amy today about their weekend, She, Mike and the kids, plus Mike's parents went camping they went to the lookout too...only they came up from the other side, we missed them by a couple of hours.
