The Lineman Rodeo and Graduation

Today, I got to tour the school John has been going to for the last 15 weeks.
Training building....Doll houses.

John won first place in his rodeo event....not sure what he did, but he did it well.

His team won first place at the rodeo, this is John...not the one hanging, the one driving. One of the events was rescuing a dummy. John was sending the victim to the top of the pole, so the climber could do the rescuing.

Family members got to ride in the bucket....Hadley loved it.

John gave us a private climbing demo, I asked him why he wasn't climbing in the rodeo, and he said he wasn't going to take any chances of getting hurt, he's ready to get a job.

Future Lineman? I think Hadley still wants to be a Princess.

I'm proud of you John.

Congratulations to John. Grandson had said the same about his rodeo and not climbing. They do a timed event of how fast up and down the pole, and he wasn't about to hurt himself either. Good luck job hunting.
